Rob Gore, MD, is a distinguished emergency medicine physician and advocate for youth violence prevention, recognized as a CNN Heroes 2018 Top 10 Finalist. As the founder of the Kings Against Violence Initiative (KAVI) since July 2009, Gore has developed a program focused on youth violence intervention, prevention, and empowerment. Additionally, Gore serves as an assistant program director at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Kings County Hospital Center, where professional experience extends from 2006 to the present. Previous roles include TED Resident in 2016 and resident physician at Cook County Hospital from 2002 to 2006.
