Samara Lipman

Samara Lipman is a production assistant currently with the CNN Documentary Unit, where responsibilities include researching documentary storytelling, managing media assets, coordinating logistics for interviews, and facilitating communication between producers and editors. Previous experience includes serving as an anchor production assistant for MSNBC's Chris Jansing Reports, conducting research and monitoring breaking news, as well as internal roles at CNN, including internships on Anderson Cooper 360 and CNNPolitics.com, where duties encompassed covering current events, fact-checking, and content management. Samara Lipman graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and History from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
