Sean O'Key

Sean O'Key is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in interactive journalism and multimedia production, currently serving as the Director of Strategy & Planning and Interactive Director at CNN since February 2008. O'Key leads a cross-functional team in the development of innovative multimedia projects for CNN’s digital platforms, collaborating with a diverse group to enhance visual storytelling. Previously, O'Key has held various roles at CNN, including Senior Producer and Producer, as well as positions in university marketing at Ball State University, where substantial contributions were made towards student engagement and media production practices. With a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Ball State University, O'Key has a strong foundation in producing compelling content across multiple media formats.
