Shawnté James

Shawnté James is a skilled graphic artist with extensive experience in motion graphic design. Currently employed at CNN since June 2024, Shawnté has previously worked as a motion graphic designer at WSB-TV from August 2016 to January 2024. Additional freelance experience includes roles as a motion/graphic designer starting in July 2013 and positions with Meptik and Elevation, Inc. as a freelance motion designer. Shawnté's background also features an internship in motion graphic design and a teaching internship in stop motion at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Educational credentials include a Master of Fine Art Degree in Motion Media and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, both from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
