Stephen Howie

Stephen Howie is an experienced technical operations manager currently overseeing CNN London's Master Control Room since September 2007. With a strong background in technical operations, Howie has held multiple roles at CNN, including Technical Operations Supervisor and Technical Director, coordinating live and pre-recorded programming while managing studio and control room facilities. Additionally, Howie co-founded and co-manages The Groove Radio, an online soul and groove station, and serves as the founder, producer, and host of the Grooveline radio show, which airs globally. Prior experience includes a technical operator position at BBC Monitoring where Howie acquired broadcast sources for open-source monitoring. Stephen Howie holds a Bachelor of Science in Media Technology from the University of Staffordshire.
