Steve Lickteig

Steve Lickteig is the Head of Podcasts at CNN, where they currently direct audio initiatives. Previously, they served as Executive Producer at NPR, NBC NEWS, and Slate, managing successful podcast networks and developing original audio content. Their career began in 1997 as a production assistant at NPR, eventually leading to multiple roles within the organization, including overseeing weekend national news programming. Lickteig's documentary film, "OPEN SECRET," premiered at the Hot Docs film festival in 2011 and was broadcast internationally. Raised on a Kansas farm, they now reside in Washington D.C. with their family.
