Steve Tuemmler

Steve Tuemmler is an experienced television journalist with over 25 years at CNN, currently serving as the Executive Producer for the International Content Unit. They oversee the production of in-house content for CNN International and have managed significant programming blocks for over a decade. Steve created and launched "BackStory" on CNNI and has produced extensive breaking news coverage since 1996, including major events like 9/11 and the Iraq War. They have field production experience across multiple countries, particularly in South Asia, and hold degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and Columbia University.
