Steven Jiang currently serves as the Beijing Bureau Chief for CNN, a position held since August 2010, where responsibilities include overseeing the network's China coverage and leading newsgathering efforts on major stories. Prior experience includes roles as a producer for CBS News, where Steven produced reports from China and Southeast Asia, and freelancing, producing documentaries for networks such as NBC and Al Jazeera English. Additionally, Steven was a correspondent for Channel NewsAsia and previously worked as a field producer for CNN and an international broadcaster for Voice of America. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and International Studies, graduating Cum Laude from Northwestern University in 1999.
