Ty Nguyen

Ty Nguyen graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 2003. Since then, Ty has worked as a photojournalist and editor, with experience at KJRH-TV, KOIN-TV, and KING-TV. Currently, Ty is a Senior Field Production Manager at CNN, where they lead a team of photojournalists and multimedia journalists. Additionally, Ty is part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team at CNN, where they created the podcast "In Focus" and mentor aspiring photojournalists.
