Walid Chamak

Walid Chamak is a seasoned professional in content sales and business development with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Content Sales & Licensing for EMEA-CIS-India at CNN since March 2020, Walid previously held the role of Director of Business Development & Content Sales at Euronews NBC from November 2018 to March 2020, where initiatives included launching franchises in the Balkans and Caucasus. From February 2005 to December 2018, Walid contributed significantly to Euronews, holding various leadership roles that focused on distribution across the MENA region and developing key partnerships for content sales. With earlier positions in marketing and research, including Head of Digital Partnerships at Africanews and consulting roles, Walid combines strong marketing expertise with a deep understanding of international media dynamics. Educational credentials include a degree in Marketing & Communications from Wesford Business School and a DUT in Business & Sales from Nice Sophia-Antipolis University.
