Audrey Auffrant

Audrey Auffrant is currently a Directrice de Recherche at CNRS and a part-time professor in the Department of Chemistry at École Polytechnique, where they teach Bachelor students and those in the Master's program in Molecular Chemistry and Interfaces. Their research focuses on the development of original heteroatom-rich ligands and their coordination chemistry, particularly with earth-abundant metals, for applications in catalysis and material science. Previous roles include postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zürich and the Laboratoire de Chimie Organo-minérale, and they earned a Magistère in Chemistry from Ecole normale supérieure. Audrey worked at CNRS from 2005 until 2021, where they specialized in coordination chemistry and catalysis.
