Barbara Ferry is a prominent researcher with extensive experience in neuroscience and psychosocial rehabilitation. Currently serving as a Chargée de recherche at CNRS since January 2000, Barbara focuses on cognitive deficits associated with brain dysfunctions in Alzheimer's disease and studies brain structures involved in emotional and motivational processes. Additionally, Barbara is a Senior Research Associate at UQTR, where research centers on innovative techniques in crime scene investigation. In conjunction with military roles, including a scientific advisor position in the ATHOS project and involvement with the Armée de Terre and Armée de l’air et de l’espace, Barbara contributes significantly to the fields of psychological support for military personnel and dog training methodologies. An academic with advanced degrees in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from Université de Strasbourg, Barbara's work has also included associations with various defense and gendarmerie institutions, highlighting a diverse and impactful career in research and practical applications.
