Bassem Salem is a researcher currently serving as Directeur de recherche at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) since 2022 and as Directeur Adjoint du Laboratoire des Technologies de la Microélectronique - LTMLab since 2023. They held postdoctoral positions at Université de Sherbrooke from 2003 to 2005 and at CEA from 2005 to 2006. Prior to their current roles, Bassem worked as a Chercheur au CNRS in 2008. They are also pursuing a PhD in Physics at Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Lyon.
