Bernard RIERA is a retired researcher at the CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique, where they have held a position since the organization’s inception. Currently, they serve as a co-responsible for the Biodiversité Environnement Végétaux Tropicaux / Tropimundo program at the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle Paris, overseeing and organizing Master's studies focused on tropical biodiversity and environmental issues.
