Chiara Stringari is a research scientist at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique since January 2015, with prior experience as a Marie Curie Fellow at Ecole Polytechnique from October 2013 to December 2014 and as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Irvine, from March 2009 to August 2013. Chiara completed a Bachelor and Master in Physics at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna between 2000 and 2005, followed by a Master in Physics at Université Paris Cité in 2002-2003, and earned a PhD in Physics with a specialization in Biophysics and Biomedical Optics from the European Laboratory for Non-linear Spectroscopy (LENS) in Florence, Italy, from 2005 to 2008. Chiara's research focuses on biophysics and biophotonics.
