Daniel Hissel is currently the Vice President for Innovation & Socio-Economic Partnership at Université Marie et Louis Pasteur and a Senior Member of the Innovation Chair at the Institut universitaire de France. They also serve as the Deputy Director of the French National Hydrogen Network at CNRS. Previously, Daniel was a Full Professor and Head of the FEMTO-ST / SHARPAC research team, focusing on Electrical Engineering and Hydrogen-Energy Systems. They have held positions as an Associate Professor at UTBM and as a Control/System Engineer at Alstom Transport. Daniel earned both an Engineer's degree and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Grenoble INP and Toulouse INP, respectively.
