Eric Ennifar is a CNRS Senior Scientist with an extensive background in biochemistry and biophysics. They served as a research scientist at CNRS from 2004 to 2014, eventually becoming a research director and group leader focused on the structure and dynamics of biomolecular machines. Prior to that, Eric worked as a scientist at EMBL Heidelberg from 2002 to 2003 and held the position of president of the French Biophysical Society from 2016 to 2021. Eric earned a Bachelor of Science and a PhD from Université Louis Pasteur Strasbourg, as well as a Habilitation in biochemistry, biophysics, and molecular biology.
