Eric Serre is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in mechanical sciences, energetic processes, and engineering. Since October 2003, Eric has served as the Director of the CNRS Federation FR3515 Fabri de Pereisc, focusing on enhancing communication and collaboration among four research laboratories associated with Aix-Marseille University, CNRS, and École Centrale Méditerranée. In addition to this role, Eric has been the Director of Research at Aix-Marseille University since October 2018, where responsibilities include leading the Doctoral School in Engineering Sciences. Eric holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Fluid Mechanics from Aix-Marseille University, obtained between 1997 and 2000.
