Frédéric Lamaty

Frédéric Lamaty is a Director of Research and the Head of the Green Chemistry Team at IBMM, CNRS, where they have been leading research efforts since 2011. Prior to this role, they served as a Research Scientist at CNRS from 1994 to 2007 and as Director of Research at the Institut des Biomolécules Max Mousseron from 2007 to 2011. Frédéric has also held positions as a Research Assistant at Purdue University and École normale supérieure, and served as a member and Vice-President of the Société Chimique de France Organic Chemistry Division from 2021 to 2024. They earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Purdue University and a Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches in Chemistry of Biomolecules from Université Montpellier 2.
