Jerome Mutterer

Head, Microscopy and Imaging Facility

Jerome Mutterer is a CNRS researcher with extensive experience in microscopy and imaging, having served as the Head of the Microscopy and Imaging Facility and as Coordinator of Science Technology Platforms from 2000 to 2018. Prior to this, they were an EC Postdoctoral fellow, focusing on the risks of virus-derived transgene products in plants through a cooperative project involving France, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Jerome also contributed to academia as a teaching and research assistant at Université de Strasbourg, where they researched microtubule organizing centers in higher plant cells. Currently, they are pursuing a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Virology at Université de Strasbourg.
