Julien Rethore is currently a member of the council at PhotoMechanics since 2022 and serves as the Directeur de recherches at CNRS - Laboratoire GeM in Nantes. Previously, they held roles as Directeur de recherches and Chargé de recherche at CNRS in 2017. Julien completed postdoctoral fellowships at TU Delft and LMT Cachan between 2005 and 2007 and earned a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from INSA Lyon in 2005. Their academic background also includes a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from INSA Lyon and an Agrégation in mechanical engineering from ENS Cachan.
