Laurence Devillers is a prominent Professor of Computer Science at the University of Paris-Sorbonne 4 - LIMSI/CNRS since September 2011, where Laurence leads the "Affective and social dimension in spoken interaction" team and contributes to working groups on "Human-machine co-evolution" and "Robotic interactive" at ISN and Paris-Saclay, respectively. Since July 2021, Laurence serves as the co-chair of the Groupe IA ad-hoc on "Ethique/Nudging" within AFNOR/CN IA "INTELLIGENCE ARTIFICIELLE." Prior to this, Laurence held the position of Professor at DIGITEO from 2011 to 2016 and worked as an Associate Professor/Researcher at LIMSI-CNRS from 1995 to 2011. Laurence obtained a PhD from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) in 1992 and completed Habilitation (HDR) in 2006 in the field of Computer Science.
