Laurent Koessler is a directeur de recherche at CNRS since October 2011, leading the Clinical Research Team in Neuroscience at IMoPA, UMR 7365, CNRS - Université de Lorraine. Koessler is also the co-director of the Lorrain Interdisciplinary and Translational Research Network in Neurosciences at Université de Lorraine and serves as the regional coordinator for Brain Week in Lorraine with the Société des Neurosciences. Previous positions include expert in neurosciences at CHRU de Nancy, postdoctoral researcher at CRAN UMR 7039 and INSERM U1106, and a doctorate in neurosciences completed with a CIFRE thesis at Laboratoire IADI. Koessler holds an Habilitation to supervise research (HDR) and a PhD in Neurosciences, Biology, and Biomedical Engineering from Université de Lorraine.
