Laurent Thomas

Directeur-adjoint PROMES (UPR 8521 CNRS)

Laurent Thomas is currently the Directeur-adjoint at the Laboratoire PROMES and the Directeur of the Fédération de Recherche "Energie-Environnement" FREE at CNRS, as well as a Professor at Université de Perpignan, UPVD. They have held the role of Attaché Temporaire d'Enseignement et de Recherche at Université de Limoges from 1992 to 1994, and served as a Maître de conférences and Professor at UPVD between 1996 and 2008. Laurent has also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the EU-Joint Research Center from 1994 to 1996. They earned a Doctorate in Physical Chemistry from Université de Limoges and a DEA in Ceramic Materials and Surface Treatments.
