Léo Varnet

CNRS researcher

Léo Varnet is a CNRS researcher who has been with the Centre national de la recherche scientifique since 2019. Previously, they served as a post-doctoral researcher at École normale supérieure from 2016 to 2019, focusing on amplitude and frequency modulation perception in humans and early perceptual abilities related to language acquisition in infants. Léo earned a signal processing engineering degree from Institut national polytechnique de Grenoble and a master’s degree in cognitive science from Université Joseph Fourier. Their early experience includes roles as a CNRS engineer and teacher assistant, where they engaged in research and education in areas such as speech processing and programming.
