Lionel Buisson is a research engineer at CNRS since December 2006, specializing in advanced optical techniques, including digital holographic vibrometry, schlieren imaging, and various types of microscopy for studying materials like graphene and nanoparticulates. Previously, Lionel held postdoctoral positions at CEA and the Département d'Optique-Nano Optique, focusing on electrochemical microscopy and near-field optical microscopy. As an assistant professor at LEOM, Lionel characterized fluorescent aggregates using AFM and SNOM techniques. Educational qualifications include a Research Doctorate and a Master's degree from École normale supérieure de Lyon, along with studies at UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.
