Mathieu Ferrand is currently a Maître de conférences and the Directeur adjoint of the UFR LLASIC at the campus Valence Drôme Ardèche. They have been a member of the CNRS National Committee for Scientific Research since 2025 and served on the jury for the external Agrégation of Spanish from 2021 to 2025. Mathieu is pursuing a Doctorate in French and Latin literatures from the Renaissance at École Pratique des Hautes Études and holds an Agrégation in Classical Letters from Université Paris-Sorbonne.
