Maylis Orio

Directrice de recherche

Maylis Orio is a Directrice de recherche at CNRS, where they focus on quantum bio-inorganic chemistry, specifically the design and experimental and theoretical characterization of molecular catalysts for small molecule activation. They previously held the position of Chargée de recherches at CNRS from 2010 to 2014, where they characterized molecular systems and studied catalysts. Maylis was also a postdoctoral researcher at the ANR from 2009 to 2010 and at the Max Planck Institute from 2007 to 2009, exploring the structure-activity relationships of dinuclear copper enzymes and modeling spin Hamiltonian parameters of high-spin metal complexes, respectively. They earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Université Grenoble Alpes and an Habilitation to supervise research from Université de Lille.
