Nicolas David is an accomplished researcher with a robust academic and professional background in biology. Having earned a PhD from Pierre and Marie Curie University, Nicolas David progressed through various esteemed positions, beginning as a postdoctoral fellow at Institut Curie from 2004 to 2006, followed by roles as a chargé de recherches at both École Normale Supérieure and École Polytechnique. From 2005 to 2023, Nicolas David served as a staff scientist at Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, and from 2017 to 2023, held the position of chargé de recherches at École Polytechnique.
