Nicolas Rouger

Nicolas Rouger is a Directeur de Recherche and Senior Scientist at CNRS, where they focus on power electronics, specifically on next-generation power semiconductor devices using widebandgap materials such as SiC, GaN, and diamond. They previously led a research group at Laplace and have collaborated with pioneers to design high-performance power devices. Having supervised graduate and PhD students, Nicolas also actively contributes to various funding projects aimed at enhancing energy transition applications. Their academic journey includes a PhD from Grenoble INP and further research experiences at institutions including the University of British Columbia and the University of Cambridge.
