Pascal Jaouen is a full professor at Polytech Nantes and holds the position of honorary director at GEPEA. With a distinguished career in research and development, they have overseen numerous international projects and have significantly contributed to the fields of bioprocessing and marine biotechnologies, particularly focusing on microalgae. Jaouen has supervised 21 PhD theses and co-authored over 125 papers, garnering more than 6900 citations. Currently, they serve as a scientific counselor for AlgoSolis and as a board member of the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique.
