Pascal Leblanc

Pascal Leblanc is a CNRS Research Director at the Institut NeuroMyoGène (INMG), specializing in the physiopathology and genetics of neurons and muscles. They have served as a Principal Investigator at CNRS since 2001, focusing on neurodegenerative disorders, prion diseases, and the antiviral properties of cellular prion proteins. Previously, they completed a postdoctoral position at INSERM, working on host-pathogen interactions, and earned a PhD from Université d'Auvergne, studying retroviruses in *Drosophila melanogaster*. Additionally, they have held a position as a scientist at ENS Lyon since 1999.
