Philippe Pierre is currently the Director of the Centre d'Immunology de Marseille Luminy at CNRS/INSERM/Aix Marseille University, a position held since 2018, where they lead an academic research institute comprising 200 researchers and staff members. Since 2000, Philippe has served as a Directeur de Recherche at CNRS, and prior to that, from 1994 to 1999, they were a Research Associate at Yale University School of Medicine, leading various projects. Philippe earned a Ph.D. in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from EMBL between 1990 and 1994.
