Régis André is a Directeur de Recherche at the Institut NEEL - CNRS, with a long-standing expertise in molecular beam epitaxy and the optical properties of semiconductor materials. They have been a CNRS Researcher since 1995 and served as head of the NanoPhysics and SemiConductors team from 2015 to 2022. Régis has held various significant roles, including as an elected member of the scientific board of CNRS-Physics since 2024 and participation in numerous program committees for international workshops and conferences. They earned a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics from Université Joseph Fourier in 1994 and achieved their Habilitation in 2009.
