Simeng Wang is a Permanent Research Fellow at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and a faculty member at CERMES3. They hold a Ph.D. in Sociology from the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, which was completed in 2014. Since 2009, Simeng has focused on Chinese immigration in France, exploring themes such as mental health, family dynamics, and transnationalism. Their current research addresses Asian migration and health, as well as experiences of racism among Asian elites in France. Additionally, Simeng coordinates the research network on East and South-East Asian Migrations in France and hosts seminars at EHESS.
