Simon Harrisson

Simon Harrisson is a seasoned researcher specializing in polymer chemistry with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as Chargé de recherche at CNRS since January 2014, Simon has previously held roles such as Ingénieur en post-doctorat at Rhodia and Postdoctorant at Faculté de Pharmacie, Université Paris-Sud XI. Simon possesses a strong background in polymer synthesis and characterization, with a focus on nanoparticles and polymer-nanoparticle composites, as well as the development of anti-fouling reverse osmosis membranes. Simon’s project management skills include coordinating teams and managing intellectual property across multiple sites in Australia and Germany. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from UNSW and Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
