Stephan Steinmann

Stephan Steinmann is currently a Directeur de recherche at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique, building on their extensive experience in computational chemistry. They previously held the position of Chargé de Recherche at ENS de Lyon from 2016 to 2023, and prior to that, served as an Assistant de Recherche at ENS Lyon from 2013 to 2016. Stephan earned a Master of Science in Chemistry from Universität Basel and completed a PhD at EPFL, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University. Their work encompasses a wide range of interests, particularly in catalysis, basic science, and bio-polymers, resulting in numerous published articles in collaboration with diverse partners.
