Tom Megain is currently a research engineer at CNRS, where they measure ice thickness in the Arctic and Antarctic using satellite altimetry. They previously held an internship in atmospheric surveying at CNES in 2022 and worked as an apprentice engineer at Thales Alenia Space from 2018 to 2021. Earlier in their career, Tom completed a laboratory technician internship at the Observatoire de Physique du Globe de Clermont-Ferrand in 2017. Tom holds an engineering degree in Image, Photonics, and Smart Industries from Télécom Saint-Etienne and a Master’s degree in Ocean, Atmosphere, and Climate Sciences from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
