Valentin Behr is a researcher at CNRS with a focus on public policy history, political elite sociology, and the history of ideas. They earned a PhD in political science from the University of Strasbourg in 2017 and have held research positions at various institutions, including the University of Warsaw and the Institute for Advanced Study in Paris. Since 2022, they have been a chargé de recherches at CESSP and teach at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and EHESS. Their current research explores the production and circulation of conservative ideas, particularly illiberal ones, between Europe and the United States.
