Xavier Bertou

Xavier Bertou is a distinguished astrophysicist currently serving as Directeur de Recherche at CNRS, a position held since April 2024. Previously, Xavier has extensive research experience, including roles as a researcher at CNEA from March 2010 to September 2024, and as an independent investigator at CONICET during the same period. Earlier positions include postdoctoral roles at CNEA from 2004 to 2009 and at the University of Chicago from 2002 to 2004. Xavier holds a PhD in Astrophysics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, obtained between 1997 and 2001, as well as a DEA in Astrophysics from Ecole normale supérieure and Université Paris Cité.
