Xavier OTTAVY

Xavier Ottavy is the Head of the Turbomachines Department and a Director of Research at CNRS, LMFA/Ecole Centrale de Lyon. Since beginning their role at CNRS in 2000, Xavier has led various significant projects in the field of turbomachines, including the EU Clean Sky2 CATANA initiative and multiple inter-laboratory collaborations. They have also been involved in teaching at several prestigious institutions, including the University Claude Bernard and the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, since 2004. Xavier holds a PhD in Mechanics with a specialization in turbomachines from Ecole Centrale de Lyon.
