Daniel Brett

Daniel Brett is a Data Science Specialist at CNTXT since April 2024 and a Senior Data Scientist at Cognite since February 2021. Prior to these roles, Daniel held various positions at BP from 2011 to 2021, including Flow Assurance Discipline Lead and Subsea Flow Assurance Engineer, where responsibilities involved flow assurance and production optimization for major global projects, particularly in Mauritania, Senegal, and Angola. Daniel's earlier experience includes mechanical engineering roles, providing engineering services for the Pharoanic Petroleum Company in Egypt and working on the Harding production and drilling facility. Daniel's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with Aeronautics from the University of Strathclyde and an Erasmus Exchange in Mechanical Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague. Additionally, Daniel served as the YMP - GLR Social Secretary at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and worked as a Mathematics and Physics Tutor with Glasgow Tutors.
