Aura Cifuentes

Aura Cifuentes has dedicated over a decade to advancing Open Government, Public Innovation, and Digital Transformation. They have held leadership roles in Colombia, including Director of Digital Government at the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies, and served internationally as an advisor at Etalab, the open data unit of the French Prime Minister. Recognized for their impactful work, Aura was named one of the "31 Influential Young Women in Colombian Politics" in 2021 and acknowledged by the World Economic Forum as one of the top 50 disruptive leaders during the pandemic. Currently residing in New York City, Aura is engaged in philanthropy to promote Digital Public Infrastructure globally and is pursuing studies at Columbia University.
