CV Madhukar

Madhukar's work experience highlights their expertise in various sectors and their ability to drive important changes. CV is currently the CEO of Co-Develop, a global not-for-profit fund that focuses on building digital public infrastructure. Prior to this role, Madhukar served as the Managing Director at Omidyar Network, where they developed the firm's work on Digital Identity and Digital Public Infrastructure. CV engaged with various stakeholders to drive significant changes in the ID and safeguards ecosystem. Before that, Madhukar founded and directed PRS Legislative Research, a respected non-partisan research initiative that supports legislators in India. CV also worked as a consultant at the World Bank, strengthening the capacity of Parliaments, and was a co-founder and managing trustee at Akshara Foundation, where they ensured every child had access to education. Madhukar was also part of the founding team at Azim Premji Foundation, where they led the exploration of technology to enhance children's learning. Additionally, they played a role in promoting ICICI's engagement with Pratham, a primary education-focused organization, during their time as Assistant Vice President at ICICI Bank. In their earlier years, Madhukar worked as an Assistant Vice President at ICICI Securities and Finance Company Limited, where they were involved in investment banking activities.

CV Madhukar completed their education in a chronological order. CV first earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Civil Engineering from Bangalore University, studying from 1985 to 1990. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at the University of Houston, completing their studies from 1991 to 1992. Lastly, they enrolled at Harvard University, where they obtained a Master in Public Administration (MPA) degree with a specialization in Public Policy, attending the institution from 2003 to 2004.
