Investment Committee at Co-Develop

Liz Clyma has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting from 2023, they are a member of the Investment Committee at Co-Develop, a global non-profit fund focused on digital technology for economic and human development. Prior to that, in 2022, they worked as an Advisor for the Medicines for All Institute, where they focused on market development strategies for essential medicines in low-income countries.

Before that, Liz held an advisory role at Particles for Humanity, PBC in 2021. From 2010 to 2021, they worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in various leadership positions, including Interim Director of Health Systems, India Country Director of Health, and Director and Program CFO of Global Health. During their time at the foundation, they led teams, managed grant portfolios, built strategic partnerships, and played a key role in shaping public policies and programs.

Prior to joining the foundation, Liz worked at Bain & Company as a Principal from 2005 to 2009, where they advised CEOs and senior management teams on strategy and investment decisions. Before that, they served as a Senior Operations Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) from 2002 to 2005, leading the financial services sector Advisory practice in former Soviet republics and Mongolia. Liz also had a previous tenure at Bain & Company as a Manager from 1999 to 2002, specializing in private equity and corporate transformation.

Overall, Liz Clyma brings extensive experience in strategic advisory, program management, and leadership roles in the fields of global health, non-profit management, and consulting.

Liz Clyma holds a BA in Social Studies (cum laude) from Harvard University. Liz also earned an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School. In addition, they obtained a MA in Russian Area Studies and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Furthermore, Liz Clyma has several certifications including "Digital Transformation in Government: Innovating Public Policy & Service" from Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education (2020), "Governing for Non-Profit Excellence" from Harvard Business School Executive Education (2015), "Accelerating Implementation Methodology" from Implementation Management Associates (IMA) (2014), "Board Service Training" from BoardSource (2014), and "Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB)" from The Faltin Group (2013).
