John M. DeWitt has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. John M. began their career in 1996 as a Business Development Manager at Net Inc., where they were responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing government, non-profit, and educational clients. John M. later became the Managing Partner of the company, overseeing its strategic direction and management.
DeWitt then worked as the Chief Development Officer at a private technology implementation corporation, managing commercial clients during the transition to new Web 2.0 technologies. John M. also served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Development Officer at two different companies, where they were responsible for the strategic creation and implementation of client acquisition and retention systems and processes.
DeWitt has experience in the education sector as well, working as an Adjunct Instructor at North Lake College, where they taught a course on Introduction to United States Government. John M. also served as the Director of Information Technology at Paul Quinn College, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the college's internal IT infrastructure.
More recently, DeWitt held positions as the Director of Public Affairs at BenefitCorp and Director of Public Affairs at Misfit Brands, where they developed and implemented communications strategies to navigate the rapidly changing public policy and political landscape in healthcare, retirement, and alternative media.
Their most recent position is as the Vice President of Customer Success at Coach-Net, where they directly report to the ownership and is responsible for leading the operations of a roadside assistance and technical support contact center.
Overall, John M. DeWitt has demonstrated expertise in strategic leadership, communication, client acquisition and retention, and IT management throughout their extensive work experience.
John M. DeWitt has a strong educational background in various fields. Starting in 1997, they attended Sam Houston State University, where they earned a BBA degree in General Business Administration and Finance/Communications. Following that, from 2000 to 2002, they pursued an MBA degree with a specialization in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at Texas Christian University. Additionally, in 2001 and 2002, John attended Baylor University, where they obtained an MPPA degree in Public Policy and Administration.
In terms of certifications, John obtained two additional certifications. In December 2015, they earned the MCP MB2-707 certification in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Customization and Configuration from Microsoft. Prior to that, in May 2014, they successfully completed the Microsoft Office for Mac certification program from Microsoft.
