Ken Berger has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 with their role as a Smuts Hall House Committee member at Smuts Hall Residence. In this position, they were responsible for leading orientation week activities and providing support for new students.
In 2017, Ken joined Environment for Development as a Research Fellow. Here, they contributed to projects evaluating the impact of behavioural nudges on water consumption in Cape Town. Ken played a role in experimental design, stakeholder consultation, and data analysis.
Most recently, Ken has been at Coachbit, starting in 2019. Ken has held various roles, including Behavioural Economist, Head of Product, Chief Product Officer, and currently serves as the Chief Information Officer.
With their experience in leadership, research, and product management, Ken has a well-rounded background that contributes to their current role at Coachbit.
Ken Berger attended St Alban's College from 2008 to 2012 and completed their high school education there. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Science (BBusSci) degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Ken later enrolled in the University of Cape Town to further their education by obtaining a Master of Commerce degree in Economics, which they completed in 2019.
