Amanda Bower has a varied work experience, beginning with their role as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at the Sonoma County Family YMCA from 2008 to 2012. Amanda then worked as a Lifeguard at the Nu'uanu YMCA from 2012 to 2013, and as a Customer Service Representative at 24 Hour Fitness from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they worked as a Camp Counselor/ Trainer at Wellspring Wellness Camp and as a Student Teacher at Maryknoll School. From 2015 to 2017, Amanda worked as a 5th Grade Teacher at Legacy Traditional School and Eduprize Charter School, and as a Softball Coach at CoachUp. Amanda then worked as a 6th Grade Teacher at EDUPRIZE from 2018 to the present.

Amanda Bower attended Messiah University from 2010 to 2011, Santa Rosa Junior College from 2011 to 2012, and Hawaii Pacific University from 2012 to 2014. Amanda earned an Associate's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Santa Rosa Junior College.
