Richard Harris has a diverse and extensive work experience. Richard began their professional journey in 1999 as an Office Assistant and Employee-Intramurals at Howard University. In 2005, they returned to their alma mater, Largo High School, as a Long-term Substitute Teacher, Head Baseball Coach, and Girl's Basketball Assistant Coach. In 2015, they joined the Wake County Public School System as a Behavior Specialist-Teacher Assistant. In 2017, they became a Career Development Coordinator at the same school system, during which time they earned certifications as a National Career Development Association Global Career Development Facilitator and Next Gen Personal Finance Career course. In 2019, they joined Compuverse Technology Corporation as a Technical and Human Resource Trainer. In 2020, they founded Get Ready 365, where they serve as an Author, Speaker, and Podcast Host, as well as an Athlete Development Specialist.

Richard Harris' education history includes a B.A. in Business Management from Howard University, obtained between 1999 and 2004. Richard also attended Wake Technical Community College, and obtained a Diploma from PENN FOSTER CAREER SCHOOL in Fitness and Nutrition in 2006. Harris has also obtained a number of certifications from various institutions, including Coursera, PAADS- Professional Association of Athlete Development Specialists, The Global Sports Chaplaincy Committee, Fitness Business Institute, HubSpot, Alison - Free Online Learning, IYCA, and Nearpod.
