Dreama Buck

Dreama Buck is currently the Professional & Academic Development Coordinator at Coalfield Development. Dreama has a long and accomplished history in various positions including customer service, project management, and teaching.

Most recently, from May 2019 to August 2021, Dreama worked as a Partnership Specialist/Media Specialist/CRM Team Lead at the U.S. Census Bureau. In this role, they were responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with local, state, and tribal governments as well as media outlets. Dreama also led a team of customer relationship managers.

Prior to their work at the U.S. Census Bureau, Dreama was an ASVAB Test Administrator at the United States Department of Defense from January 2019 to May 2019. In this role, they administered tests to high school students who were interested in joining the military.

Dreama has also worked extensively in academia. From August 2014 to August 2018, they were an English Professor at Marshall University. During their time there, they taught composition courses and oversaw the Writing Center. From August 2012 to May 2014, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for English at Marshall University.

In addition to their work in customer service and academia, Dreama has also worked in administration. From November 2016 to July 2019, they served as Assistant Dean at the West Virginia Governor's School for the Arts. In this role, they oversaw the day-to-day operations of the school and managed a team of administrators.

Dreama began their career in 1998 as a Communications Specialist/Special Assistant to the VP of Communications at Citynet. Dreama then transitioned to Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia in 2006, where they served as an Administrative/Executive Assistant and Customer Service Lead until 2012. Her final previous position was as Project Coordinator for West Virginia University’s Mountaineer Administrative Processes Project for Oracle Implementation from March 1998 to August 1998.

Throughout their career, Dreama has demonstrated their dedication to their work and their ability to thrive in various roles. Dreama is a highly skilled communicator and leader with a proven track record of success.

Dreama Buck has a Master of Arts in English from Marshall University, a Regents Bachelor of Arts in English and Religious Studies from Marshall University, and a Governors Associate of Science from Mountwest Community and Technical College.
